2、 Working principle of multi effect concentrator
Multi effect evaporation is an evaporation operation that sequentially connects several heating chambers and evaporation chambers together, which can effectively and repeatedly utilize steam and improve its utilization rate. Multi effect requires that the operating temperature and pressure of the aftereffect be lower than that of the previous effect. Introducing the steam from the previous effect as the heating source for the aftereffect is equivalent to using the aftereffect as a condenser for the previous effect. A multi effect steam generator only requires steam from the first effect. Generally, the second or final effect of a multi effect is operated in a vacuum state. As the heating source for the aftereffect comes from the secondary steam of the first effect, the amount of steam generated is reduced. It should be emphasized that evaporation is directly proportional to heat transfer, so multi effect only reduces the amount of steam used, while evaporation, i.e. treatment capacity, does not increase.
